These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern and apply to your access and use of our products and service available via our website and mobile apps (our “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you are agreeing to these Terms. Certain Services may be subject to additional terms, guidelines or rules, which will be available with those relevant Services, and those additional terms become part of these Terms when you use those Services.

Using the Services

Our Services contain information, content, products, and services provided by third parties (“Third Party Services”). These Third Party Services are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their products and services (including their performance, operation, and availability) or their business practices or policies. We are providing these Third Party Services to you as a convenience but we do not imply any endorsement or recommendation of their products or services, or of any association of us with such third parties. If you use any of these Third Party Services, you do this entirely at your own risk and any charges or obligations you incur in your dealings with these third parties, are your responsibility. The products and services available through the Third Party Services are subject to their own terms and policies, including privacy and data gathering practices.

Our Services may include advertisements, which will be targeted to the content or information on the Services, queries made through the Services, or from other information. The types and extent of advertising on the Services are subject to change over time. In consideration for providing you the Services, you agree that we and our third party providers and partners may place advertising on our Services or in connection with the display of content or information on our Services.

These Services may change from time to time and/or we may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or features within the Services), possibly without prior notice to you.

Unauthorized Activities

You may not do any of the following while using or accessing the Services:

attempt to access or search the Services or download content from the Services through the use of any engine, software, tool, agent, device or mechanism other than the software and/or search agents provided by us or other generally available third party web browsers;

access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Services, our computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of our providers;

gather and use information, such as other users’ names, real names, email addresses, available through the Services to transmit any unsolicited advertising, junk mail, spam or other form of solicitation;

use the Services for any commercial purpose or for the benefit of any third party or in any manner not by these Terms;

violate any applicable law or regulation; or

encourage or enable someone to do any of the foregoing.

We reserve the right to investigate and prosecute violations of any of the above and/or involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting anyone who violates these Terms.

Using Software with the Services

We may make available software or applications that you can download (to your computer or mobile device) to access and use our Services. As long as you comply with these Terms, you have the right to use our software to access and use the Services, for your own personal use. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the Services, in the manner permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

When you download our software from the Apple App Store, Google Play or other app store or distribution platform (from an “App Provider”), you acknowledge and agree that:

These Terms are concluded between us, and not with the App Provider, and that we (not the App Provider), are responsible for our software.

The App Provider has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to our software or handle any warranty claims.

The App Provider is not responsible for addressing any claims you have or any claims of any third party relating to our software, such as, product liability claims, consumer protection claims, intellectual property infringement claims, or any claim that our software fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement.

The App Provider is a third party beneficiary of these Terms as related to your license of our software, and the App Provider will have the right to enforce these Terms as related to your license of our software against you.

You must also comply with all applicable third party terms of service when using our software.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use and disclose information from our users.

Copyright Policy

It is our policy to remove, or disable access to, material that infringes any copyright on our Services after we have been notified by the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal agent. If you believe that your work has been copied and posted on through our Services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our copyright agent with the following information:

an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;

an identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;

a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on our Sites or through our Services;

your address, telephone number, and e-mail address;

a written statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law;

a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Our Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and foreign countries. Except as expressly provided in these Terms, we (or our licensors) exclusively own all right, title and interest in and to the Services, including all associated intellectual property rights. You may not remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark, service mark or other proprietary rights notices incorporated in or accompanying the Services or in any Third Party Services. If you provide any suggestions, ideas, feedback, or recommendations to us regarding our Services (“Feedback”), we may use this Feedback for any purpose and without any obligation to you. By providing us with Feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, fully-paid and royalty-free license to use and exploit in any manner any and all Feedback.


If you breach any of the terms of these Terms, we have the right to suspend or disable your access to or use of the App and/or Services.

Use of the Services is at Your Own Risk

Your access to and use of the Services is at your own risk. By using the Services, you may be exposed to information or content that might be inaccurate, incomplete, unreliable, offensive, harmful or otherwise considered to be inappropriate material. Under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for any such content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in that content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any information or content transmitted or otherwise made available via the Services.

You understand and agree that the Services are provided to you “AS IS” and on an “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Without limiting the foregoing, WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. We make no warranty that the Services will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis.

Limitation of Liability



Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the limitations above may not apply to you.


These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us with respect to the subject matter and supersedes and merges any prior proposals, understandings and contemporaneous communications. These Terms may be amended by us from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by posting the revised Terms or notifying you through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the changes go into effect will constitute your agreement to such changes. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to or application of conflicts of law rules or principles. By using our Services you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts for Kent County, Rhode Island for any lawsuit filed there against you by us arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services. If any part of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personal information such as name, phone number, email address, and location information (“Personal Information”) that we gather when you are accessing or using the Site and Services owned and operated by RXinsider LTD (“CareerTapp”). Our Services are designed to optimize your mobile experience by surfacing or suggesting application functionality in response to your searches. To accomplish this, we gather various types of Personal Information from our users and use this Personal Information internally in connection with our Services, as explained in more detail below. In certain cases, we may also share some Personal Information with third parties, but only as described below. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party services that you may access through our Services.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Site” means our website available at www.careertapp.com; “Services” means the services provided through the Site, platform, widget and mobile applications.

In some instances, CareerTapp acts as a service provider for companies that use our Services for processing of their customers’ information (“Clients”). In these instances, we collect and process information under the direction of our Clients, and have no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information we process. If you are a customer of a Client using our platform, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our Services. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

This Privacy Policy is part of the CareerTapp Terms of Service. By continuing to use our Services, you agree to be bound by both policies, so please read them carefully.

Information We Collect

  • We collect information from you in various ways when you use our Site and Services. We may also supplement this information with information from other companies. The following are the specific types of information you give to us:

  • Information You Decide to Provide: If you decide to contact us by email through the Site, we may collect your name, company name, email address and telephone number and other Personal Information that you submit to us. Similarly, if you desire to have access to certain sections of the Site, you may be required to become a registered user and to submit certain Personal Information to us to allow you to use certain features of the Site.

  • Information Collected Through Your Use of the Services: When you use our Services we automatically collect specific information such as the Services and applications that you use, how you use them, and the device you are using them from. This information includes:

  • Log Files: When you use our Site or Services, our servers automatically receive and record certain information from your browser and computer or device, such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, and pages viewed.

  • Use Information: In addition our servers automatically receive and record information about how you use our Services, such as your search queries, how you interact with the search results, and which features of our application or widget you use and how you use them.

  • Device Information: Whenever you interact with our Services, we automatically collect device-specific information such as a device identifier, device model, user settings, the operating system and version, device type and manufacturer, wireless carrier or operator, and network type, as well as other information about your use of our Services.

  • Application Information: We may also index and collect information about the mobile applications that you have installed or may access on your mobile device, such as application names, application identifiers, installations/uninstallations, and usage statistics (including, for example, number of times apps are opened or actions taken using the Services). You may change this default behavior in the settings.

  • Location information: We may also collect and process information about your actual location, such as GPS signals sent by a mobile device. We may also use sensor data from your device that provides information on nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers. You may change this default behavior in the settings.

  • Email Address: When you use our Services on a mobile device, we may collect your email address and anonymize it through one-way hashing.

  • Third Party Account Information: Certain portions of the Services may enable you to search your personal content on third-party sites. If you provide your third-party account credentials to us, you understand some content and/or information in those accounts (“Third Party Account Information”) may be transmitted to us, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. For example, if you provide us account information about your Facebook account, our Services will be able to access your basic information on Facebook.

  • Cookies and Anonymous Identifiers: CareerTapp uses cookies and other anonymous identifiers to enable session and state management. We may send one or more “cookies” – small data files – to your computer to uniquely identify your browser and improve your use of our Services. A cookie may convey anonymous information about how you use our Services, but does not collect Personal Information about you. A persistent cookie remains on your device after you close your browser so that it can be used by your browser on subsequent uses of our Services. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent, however, some features of our Services may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled. We may also use clear GIFs (also known as web beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information is collected using these clear GIFs. In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. This information is used to enable more accurate reporting and make our Services better for our users.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect to personalize the Services for you, including providing results that may be relevant based upon your location or your use of applications or features on your device. We also use this information to suggest new applications that may interest you. We also use the information to provide, maintain, protect and improve the Services; to develop new services; to analyze how you use the Services; to protect our servers and users; and to offer you personalized content. For example, we may use the information we collect:

  • to provide our Services and any information you request;

  • to respond to your emails, comments, and requests; and to provide customer service;

  • to personalize and improve our Services and your experience when you use our Services;

  • to increase the functionality and user friendliness of our Services;

  • to monitor and analyze usage and trends of our Services and third-party services;

  • to send you confirmations, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and otherwise facilitate your use of, and our administration and operation of, our Services;

  • to send or display, or facilitate the sending or displaying of, push notifications or advertisements tailored to your interests; and

  • for the purpose for which the information was collected.

In addition, if you decide to provide Personal Information about yourself via the Site or if you use our Services on a mobile device, we may use your email address to send you Service-related notices (including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail). We may also use your Personal Information to send you marketing messages. If you do not want to receive such messages, you may opt out by following the instructions in the message.

We also may aggregate your data with other users’ data in non-personally identifiable, aggregated, and anonymized form to analyze and improve the CareerTapp Services. Aggregate data is information we collect about a group or category of services or users from which individual user identities have been removed. In other words, no Personal Information is included in aggregate data. Aggregate data helps us understand trends in our users’ needs so that we can better consider new features or otherwise tailor our services. This Privacy Policy in no way restricts or limits our collection and use of aggregate data, and, as explained in further detail below, we may share aggregate data about our users with third parties for various purposes, including to help us better understand our users’ needs, improve our services and for advertising and marketing purposes.

Information We Share with Others

We may share the information we have collected from you:

  • when you give us your consent to do so, including if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information;

  • with service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our Services (these service providers may have access to your Personal Information but only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to this Privacy Policy and obligated not to disclose that information or use it for any other purposes);

  • if you decide to use certain third-party services that require the sharing of information;

  • when we reasonably believe that we are legally authorized or required to do so or that doing so is reasonably necessary or appropriate to comply with a law, regulation or to respond to lawful requests or legal authorities, including responding to subpoenas, warrants or court orders;

  • if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues;

  • to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service or other policies or agreements or to protect our rights or property; and

  • in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition, or in any other situation where user information may be disclosed or transferred as one of our business assets.

  • We may also share aggregated or anonymous information (about you but doesn’t identify you):

  • for usage analytics to help us and our partners and Clients better understand who is using our Services and how;

  • to improve the relevancy of the ads you see on our Services and to tailor them to your interests; and

  • for industry analysis, demographic profiling, research, analysis and other similar purposes.

Information Collected and Used by Third Parties

Third Party Analytics: We may use analytics providers to help us understand the use of our Services. These providers will also collect the information sent by your mobile device or browser, and their use of that information is governed by their applicable privacy policy. We use Google Analytics and have enabled Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. We use the reports we receive from Google Analytics to analyze usage patterns of CareerTapp Services and aggregate CareerTapp user demographics. Google provides access to your Ads Settings to enable you opt out of Google Analytics features. For web browsing, Google also provides a browser add-on that users can download and install to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics.

Third Party Advertisers: We may allow third-party advertisers to serve advertisements on our Services. These third-party advertisers may use technology to send the advertisements and links that appear on our Services directly to your browser or mobile device. They may also kuse other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content. We do not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party advertisers without your consent. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise on our Services, and who may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads. To learn more about behavioral advertising or to opt-out of this type of advertising for participating ad networks, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Third Party Services: Our Privacy Policy does not apply to the products and services you select that are offered by other companies or individuals, including products or applications that may be displayed to you in search results; products and services that may include our Services; or other products and applications linked from our Services.

How We Protect Your Information

We use physical, managerial, and technical safeguards that are designed to preserve the integrity and security of your information. We encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or guarantee that your information on our Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, managerial, or technical safeguards. You should not provide any sensitive information about you or others via the Site.

Your Choices About Your Information

You may decline to submit Personal Information through our Site, in which case we may not be able to provide certain services to you. You can update or correct your Personal Information through the applicable Services or by contacting us. You may opt out of certain information collection on your mobile device through the settings provided in the CareerTapp mobile application or opt out of all information collection on your mobile device by uninstalling the CareerTapp mobile application. If you uninstall the CareerTapp mobile application from your mobile device, the information collected about your mobile device will continue to be stored.

You may request deletion of your Personal Information by emailing Contact Us. When acting as a service provider for its Clients, CareerTapp has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information it processes. An individual who seeks access, or to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate Personal Information should direct the query to CareerTapp Client (the data controller). CareerTapp will respond to requests to delete Personal Information within 30 days.

Aggregated and anonymized information may remain in our records after deletion of such Personal Information. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.

When acting as a service provider, CareerTapp will retain Personal Information and the data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed provide services to our Client. CareerTapp will retain and use this Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We may need to process your Personal Information on our servers in countries around the world, which may not be located in the country where you live.

Blog / Forum

Our Site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your Personal Information from our blog or community forum, use the Contact Us form. and specify where your Personal Information appears on the Site and what you would like removed. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Personal Information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Our blog is managed by a third party application that may require you to register to post a comment. We do not have access or control of the information posted to the blog. You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the Personal Information that was posted to the comments section removed. To learn how the third party application uses your information, please review their privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13. If you learn that your minor child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Any information that is collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on this page to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain Services, email notification of privacy policy changes) prior to the change becoming effective. We will also keep the prior version of this Privacy Policy available for your review. By continuing to access or use our Services after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
